Retirement assumptions Choose the rule that applies to you

Cadres, extensions and special categories may follow different rules. Check your employer’s order. Leap-day birthdays use the last valid day of February in the target year.

Excluded periods Optional, user-defined calendar days

Only enter days you want excluded from this planning count. Both ends of each excluded period are counted; overlapping periods are rejected. The tool does not decide what is pension-qualifying service.

A planning aid.
Not a service ruling.

Calendar duration is expressed in years, months and days. Exclusions are subtracted as exact days; they are not converted into misleading “qualifying years”. This does not calculate pension eligibility, pension, gratuity or promotion entitlement.

General Central and J&K examples use retirement at 60 and the month-end rule with the first-day-of-month exception. Your applicable cadre orders take precedence.
